J. Stephens, Chief Executive Officer
Nancy
J. Stephens is the founder and CEO of Global Sales Alliance, a sales
consulting firm specializing in new business development. Since
GSA's inception in 1992, Nancy has assisted senior-level executives
and business professionals throughout North America, South America,
Europe, the Middle East, and Asia on how to consistently gain new
business with sales consulting, custom training, and sales assessments.
Nancy
is the author of the best selling business book Customer-Focused
Selling and Customer-Focused Selling CD ROM, both published by Adams
Media Corporation. In addition, Nancy has authored many custom programs
for clients in video, audio, text, and e-learning formats; public
programs include Accelerated Networking audio, Five Alive, Networking
for Sales Results video, and Networking Top Questions & Solutions
audio.
In
the media, she has been published in LIMRA's International Managers
Magazine, the American Bar Association's Link, featured in Travel
Agent Magazine, interviewed for Home Office Computing, Successful
Meetings Magazine, and Working Woman Magazine, and has served as
a monthly contributing author to LRP's SELL!NG subscription newsletter.
Nancy
holds the National Speakers Association's highest earned degree
of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). The CSP requirements include
serving over 100 clients, speaking for over five years, presenting
at least 250 programs, confidential quality checks with over 20
clients, and testimonial letters of recommendation from 25 clients.
Nancy earned her CSP in 1999 with a worldwide client base, Global
Sales Alliance clients include American Express Company, American
Automobile Association, Analog Devices, BankBoston NA, BBDO Worldwide,
Institute of Management Consultants, Northwest Airlines, PriceWaterhouseCoopers
LLP, Siemens Business Communication Systems Inc., and Texas Instruments,
among many others.
Nancy served on the Board of Directors of SalesNet.com, an internet
sales process company, from inception through funding. In addition,
Nancy is Past President of National Speakers Association New England,
the largest Chapter of the National Speakers Association, and is
a Chapter Liaison for NSA and the Meetings Industry Council.
Prior
to founding Global Sales Alliance, Nancy's background included hands
on experience in Senior Management. From 1980-1983 Nancy represented
a US-based computer service bureau as a national trainer and was
responsible for transition of back-office accounting systems. She
then spent 1983-1987 in the insurance industry where she qualified
for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and earned
membership into the Leader's Forum. From 1987-1992, Nancy was on
the Senior Management team of a regional security alarm company,
a top producer in the industry and a guest instructor at the New
England Alarm Association Council (NEAAC).
